In manufacturing, situations occur that require pre-welding and then drilling of assemblies. The concern that the holes are welded sooner or later is usually due to one or more reasons:<\/p>\n

  1. Shrinkage and distortion of the material as the weld cools could compromise the position of the holes.<\/li>\n
  2. The actual weld of previously drilled components may not be perfectly aligned, thus compromising the precision of the holes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The Avenger Plus and Avenger machines, by virtue of the static workpiece and mobile processing column, allow fabricators to place and drill pre-welded structures on their machines.<\/p>\n
