Ocean Machinery president, Danny Steyn, clinched his 6th June Sprints title in the Super Touring Lite class in the Ocean Machinery Mazda MX-5, at the legendary Road America Racetrack in Elkhart Lake Wisconsin. Steyn also has 3 additional June Sprints titles in the Spec Miata class.
Steyn is preparing for the upcoming winner-takes-all shootout in the SCCA, the annual SCCA Runoffs, which will also take place at this very track. Steyn has 3 National Runoffs titles to his name, all in the STL class. He will resume his career-long rivalry with his nemesis and super quick wheelman, Joe Moser who has 5 National Runoffs titles.
The 2024 Runoffs are sure to be interesting as Steyn and Moser have not competed with each other since the class underwent a few technical changes.
