Description
The KMT DC12A-NC Automatic Band Saw is a true shuttle-vise machine. Two saw vises ensure the material is clamped and never released during all feeding and sawing operations, and the material may be positioned, jogged and positioned precisely beneath the blade as desired. The vises hold material on both sides of the blade, eliminating the drop-off burr.
Featuring the exclusive XSmart CNC operating system which allows entry of up to 10 jobs to be memorized, each one with up to 10 different lengths & quantities. All cutting functions are displayed at the operator console.
Sawframe is welded and normalized construction which provides greater strength and dampens vibration. When compared to most competitive machines of this competitive size, our sawframe is longer and bandwheels larger. The sawblade twist from the band wheels is only 30 degree, providing less blade stress. This assures longer blade life and greater sawing rates.
The machine is fully enclosed for maximum safety, but hinged access doors on all sides open easily and conveniently for access to setup and maintenance and adjustments. The doors are electrically interlocked to prevent the possibility of moving components while any of the doors are open. This also allows access to adjustment points easily, compared to many competitive machines that require tedious removal of guards and covers to accomplish maintenance or adjustments.
