As the President of Ocean Machinery, Danny Steyn handles the sales and marketing for Ocean’s extensive dealer network worldwide. Danny is a Mechanical Engineering Graduate from the University of Natal in Durban South Africa, with over 30 years of manufacturing and engineering experience in a wide range of industries

Damon Chandler, a fellow Mechanical Engineering graduate, also from the University of KwaZulu Natal in Durban South Africa, holds the position of Chief Operating Officer. Damon worked as a race engineer for 20 years at the highest levels of motorsport, in both Formula 1 and Indy Cars. And for the past 20 years, Damon has driven innovation and change at the diesel giant, Cummins.

Karen Castorina is our Director of First Impressions and is the wonderful helpful voice you hear when you call our offices. Karen handles all our Office management and assists in Internal Sales. Karen’s knowledge of all things related to structural steel fabricating machinery and beam drill lines is amazing. Karen is the glue that holds the company together.

Our Sales Manager, Darryl Thornhill has a Marketing Degree from Virginia Tech with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Radford University. Darryl is responsible for the North American Ocean Dealer Network selling the Ocean product line.

In 2004 Bradley Clapp was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates.  After playing baseball for 5 years, Bradley moved on to a successful sales career and now represents the Ocean product line west of the Mississippi including Western Canada. Bradley is responsible for Ocean’s North American Dealer network in his territory, but also works closely with Darryl Thornhill who handles the eastern half of North America.

Hailing from Alabama, Jeremy Novitski, is an Auburn University Business Management graduate. His experience in both the CNC machine tool and customer service industries provides a unique perspective. Jeremy works closely with Darryl and our North American dealer network selling the Ocean product line of Steel Fabricating Machinery.

Folker Krebs, handles our South Florida machinery sales, he is fluent in English Spanish, and German. His experience in the steel fabricating industry as well as the machinery industry, from manufacturing, sales, service, and support, makes him very knowledgeable in the variety of machines he sells.

Lis Garcia, our Sales Administrator possesses a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Nova Southeastern University. She has over ten years of experience in the administrative field with a specialization in the financial sector. Lis is currently responsible for the Administration of our Ocean Product sales.

Bruno Chirico, a native Floridian and recent graduate from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Integrated Business. Bruno assists with Operations, Sales Administration, and Accounting.

Devin Cavanaugh, holds a Bachelors in Business Administration with a major in Finance from Washington State University. Before joining Ocean, he spent four years working directly with general contractors and steel erectors. Devin is responsible for inside sales of machinery, parts and consumables to domestic customers.

Lorena Garcia, is Ocean’s inside sales export specialist, she is fluent in English and Spanish. Lorena possesses over 30 years of experience building strong customer relationships and providing unmatched service and support.

Greg Henry, brings 30 years of marketing experience to the Ocean Team. His previous experience includes marketing & brand development for the specialty retail channel where he helped successfully launch numerous nationally recognized brands.

Carlos Perez, Service Field Technician in charge of maintenance and repairs. Graduated as an electrical engineer from the Simon Bolivar University in Venezuela. With a curious and open mind, always ready to help customers with their machines and fix problems that may arise.
