By all accounts, Ocean Machinery’s 2012 Dealer Meeting, held in Fort Lauderdale, was a huge success for the large delegation of more than fifty dealers from around the world. Ocean was thrilled to have dealers attending from all across North America, plus export dealers from South Africa, Russia, Brazil, Mexico, and Peru.
LOCATION
The meeting was held at the stunning Marriot Harbor Beach, right on the beach, and the weather could not have been better. The facilities at the Marriott Harbor beach are exceptional, and the hospitality exceeded all expectations.
RECEPTION
How cool is this?. Oceans third Dealer Meeting was held in the Ocean III Conference room at the Marriott Resort. Sometimes you just get lucky!
Dealers were welcomed and Karen Castorina handed out the specially embroidered shirts to commemorate another special event – the 500th Ocean Avenger Celebration!
Dealers took the time to renew old acquaintances and make new friends.
OCEAN DEALER AWARDS FOR 2011
Ocean Machinery’s President and Founder, Hunter Fry, welcomed the attendees.
The first order of business was the presentation of awards for sales excellence to the top performing dealers and the top performing individual salespeople for 2011.

MEETING CONTENT
Oceans VP of Sales and Marketing, Danny Steyn, gave the dealers a detailed insight into the reality of the US and worldwide economies. This would provide the direction for the dealers in looking at new markets.
A real time translation service assisted the Portuguese speaking dealers with the meeting content.
THE MACHINES
The following day the attendees were provided hands on training and education on the entire Ocean product line. Here Hunter Fry explains the salient features of the Ocean Avenger, the fastest selling beam line in the world.
Keith Birge demonstrated the versatile capability of the Ocean Liberator.
The Peddinghaus Engineering Team also demonstrated the amazing abilities of the highly anticipated new Ocean Avenger PLUS!

The Oceanettes at the calendar signing. In 2012 the Oceanette voting poll catapulted Ocean Machinery into the stratosphere in terms of website traffic. For a brief period, Ocean Machinery was ranked among in the world’s top 30,000 sites, something unheard of for a machinery company.
THE FUN TIMES
On Saturday, Ocean took its dealers for a sightseeing cruise up the South Florida Intracoastal Waterway aboard the stunning 79ft Lady Chateau. Oceans dealers got a taste of Fort Lauderdale’s exquisite charm and the stunning mansions that line this man made waterway linking Miami to New York.
At the end of a stunning day on the water, Ocean bid its dealers a fond farewell.
